The World Health Organization (WHO) will host the first-ever Health for All Film Festival on the occasion of the 73rd World Health Assembly (18-23 May 2020) in Geneva. The Festival aims to put storytelling power in the hands of people and seeks to showcase the role of individuals and communities as champions for health and well-being.

Filmmakers are invited to submit a short video for one of the following categories by 30 January 2020:

Category 1: Video reports showing human-interest stories and testimonies about individuals or groups of people navigating a local or global health challenge, championing solutions, or driving change (3-8 minutes long).

Category 2: Animation videos showing testimonials, challenges and/or solutions in achieving health for all, or educating about a health issue (1-5 minutes long).

Category 3: Videos about nurses and midwives showing daily realities of their work and/or how they impact people’s lives, in any audiovisual narration style (3-8 minutes long). WHO has designated 2020 as the Year of the Nurse and the Midwife.
