Greetings from the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences,
I extend a heartfelt welcome to all professors, students, and prospective applicants interested in exploring the various disciplines within the humanities.
Our vibrant academic community plays a crucial role in shaping our understanding of the world and its rich cultures, while nurturing critical thinking and creativity. Essentially, this faculty invites you on a journey of exploration, discovery, and personal growth.
Within this environment, meaningful interactions thrive as scholars, educators, and students come together to exchange ideas through seminars and collaborative research projects. In this academic space, all contributions and perspectives are deeply valued and respected, thereby cultivating a culture of inclusivity and intellectual diversity.
Our majors are designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in language and literature (including Arabic, French, English, Russian, Turkish, and Persian), communication, translation, history, geography, psychology, archaeology, and philosophy.
The approach is an interdisciplinary one that offers broad perspectives on various aspects of human life and behavior, enabling students to make connections between disciplines and to explore complex issues from multiple angles.
Moreover, our majors offer internship opportunities, study abroad programs, and research projects that allow students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings. These hands-on experiences prepare students for diverse career paths in education, translation, psychology, research, publishing, journalism, computational linguistics, and related domains.
I extend a warm invitation to students to continue their pursuit of knowledge, and to embrace the intellectual challenges and opportunities presented by the faculty. I look forward to our ongoing collaboration within this dynamic and ever-evolving field.
Thank you.
