Samer Gharios, a PhD candidate at the Doctoral School of Literature, Humanities and Social Sciences at the Lebanese University, was awarded the certificate of Fulbright Junior Faculty Development Program (FJFD) from the US Embassy's Cultural Office.

On 26 August 2018, Samer completed the program at North Carolina State University in Linguistics/Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).
