Christelle Zaghrini majored in Biology at the Lebanese University - Faculty of Science from where she obtained her Bachelor degree.
She then pursued a Research Master’s degree in Physiology at the American University of Beirut (AUB) and worked on a thesis entitled: “Molecular mechanisms underlying the attenuation of diabetes-induced renal injuries by mesenchymal stem cells.”
She is currently pursuing her Doctoral studies in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the Université Nice-Sophia Antipolis where she is working on a thesis entitled: “Thrombospondin type-1 domain containing 7A (THSD7A): the second autoantigen in membranous nephropathy”.
Christelle addressed the LU students through Link LU and urged them not to underestimate the level of education at the Lebanese University saying that her undergraduate studies were a solid base for her graduate studies.
