After obtaining the institutional accreditation from the High Council for the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCÉRES) and in continuation of its quality assurance strategy, the Lebanese University (LU) hosted a delegation from HCÉRES, headed by François Pernot, Director, Europe and International Department, and Michelle Houppe, Head of Projects.
The LU President, Professor Fouad Ayoub, discussed with the European delegation the internationally approved mechanisms and standards for circulation to academic programs in the various LU faculties.
The meeting attended by the deans of LU faculties and a number of professors, also discussed the approved frameworks for the preparation of reports and files needed to launch such programs funded by the Embassy of France and its affiliated cultural center.
