Within the framework of the EU-funded Project RESCUE (Refugee Education Support in MENA Countries) coordinated by the Mediterranean Universities Union (UNIMED), which aims to support Syrian refugee students in Higher Education, the Lebanese University is currently participating in the 5th Partnership Meeting hosted by the University of Duhok and Duhok Polytechnic University, Iraq.
The Lebanese University is represented by Dr. Asma Chamli and Dr. Zalpha Ayoubi, members of the International Relations committee.
Several partners from European and Arab Universities and associations are expected to participate including: UNIMED (Italy), University of Barcelona (Spain), TU Berlin (Germany), University of Duhok (Iraq), Duhok Poytechnic University (Iraq), Association of Arab Universities (Jordan), Zarqa University (Jordan), Al-Zaytoonah University (Jordan) and Yarmouk University (Jordan).
