The Lebanese University - Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture (Branch 2) organized a "Japanese day", in Furn El Chebbak, within the framework of its academic, educational, cultural and artistic activities, and in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in Lebanon.
The activity was attended by Dr. Mohammad Hosni Al Hajj, Faculty Dean, Dr. Antoine Charbel, Branch Director, Mr. Mitsuhiro Wada, First Secretary at the Embassy, and Mrs. Ay Odorbia, the cultural attaché, in addition to the heads of the academic departments and a group of professors and students.
The event introduced Japan through a Japanese martial arts show, a Japanese animated movie, a Japanese mini concert, and workshops dedicated to introduce Ikebana, Origami, Shodo, Kurumie, Yukata managed by Japanese specialists.
