Within the framework of the sixtieth anniversary of its foundation, the Lebanese University - Institute of Social Sciences (Branch 3) organized a seminar entitled "Highlight on Violence”, in cooperation with the Union of Arab Women Leaders of the League of Arab States

The seminar was attended by Judge Matilda Touma, General prosecutor in North Lebanon, who addressed the issue according to the Lebanese law and the procedural measures for its enforcement, and Attorney Souheir Derbas who focused on the reality of women detained in Israeli prisons.

The seminar, moderated by Dr. Dolly Al Sarraf, was marked by the great interaction of students, professors and guests who provided rich and valuable interventions.
