Dr. Omar El Deeb of the Lebanese University published a new study on "The dynamics of COVID-19 spread: evidence from Lebanon" in Mathematical Biosciences and Engineering, issued by the American Institute of Mathematical Sciences (AIMS). The study is a first peer reviewed paper that employs a mathematical approach to study the dynamics and spread of the disease in Lebanon and serve as a basis to conduct further forecasts on its development.
