Amidst strict preventive health measures, entrance examinations for the first year of Bachelor’s degree were conducted at the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration at the Lebanese University, and about 3,500 candidates were distributed to 27 centers in North, South, Beqaa, Beirut and Mount Lebanon.

Professor Selim Mekdessi, Faculty Dean, toured and followed a number of examination centers, through surveillance cameras in all centers directly from the control room in the Ministry of Education & Higher Education in the presence of Mrs. Amal Shaaban, Head of the Examinations Department in the Ministry.

In order to ensure the safety of students and observers, the Faculty and the Examination Department took COVID-19 preventive measures, including social distancing, organizing the arrival and departure of candidates, as well as securing sterilization packages that were distributed at the entrance to the examination centers and in all examination halls and requiring students to wear masks.

It is noteworthy that the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration is the only Faculty in the Lebanese University that organizes the entrance examinations to the Bachelor's degree in partnership with the Ministry of Education, and a team from the Ministry is responsible for setting and correcting exam questions.
