
The Lebanese University, represented by its President, Dr. Bassam Badran, signed a cooperation agreement with the Order of Engineers and Architects – Beirut, represented by Captain Aref Yassin, in the Central Administration Building.
The agreement, with a duration of five years renewable, aims to organize training courses for students majoring in Architectural Engineering at the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture, according to a process and conditions determined by the two parties, in addition to cooperating with the faculty's professors to develop studies on contemporary development in Architecture and Urban Planning.
The cooperation also includes the establishment of an Urban Observatory and the creation of a database on the architectural heritage in Lebanon, urban issues, and the challenges facing urban planning, as well as the organization of specialized exhibitions, lectures, and workshops on urban issues.
