Committed to its mission of community service, the Lebanese University is participating with the Lebanese people in confronting the Israeli aggression in more than one region and on more than one level.
The Faculty of Public Health handed the Order of Nurses in Lebanon and the Emergency Authority a list of 290 students from the Nursing Department (in all branches) who chose to volunteer to support health institutions, distributed between the Turkish Trauma and Emergency Hospital in Saida, Sibline Governmental Hospital, Ain Wazein Medical Village and a number of other hospitals.
In addition, 85 students from the Department of Legal Midwifery at the Faculty of Public Health volunteered to support health institutions as needed.
The Faculty of Public Health and the Social Workers' Syndicate in Lebanon, in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Health Emergency Authority, reached out to help in these circumstances. As a result, more than 40 volunteers from the Department of Health-Social Work students from different branches joined the health and social centers designated by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
