The Lebanese University won first and second place in the “Best Scientific Research” category at the “Challenges of Using Artificial Intelligence and Future Stakes” conference organized in March 2024.
Dr. Nadia Bou Fayyad (Faculty of Information - Branch 2) won first place for her paper titled “The Impact of Chat GPT on Educational Research and Academic Writing”, while Dr. Samar Zeitoun (LCSC, FLHS) won second place for her paper titled “Artificial Intelligence in Education - A Revolution in Assessment Between the Promise of Progress and the Dangers of Bias”.
The conference was organized by Dhad International Center in cooperation with the Arab Association for Communication Sciences, the Lebanese Association for Charitable Educational and Cultural Renewal, the International Association of Universities, the International Justice Pioneers Center, and the Second Virtual International Conference, with the participation of researchers from a large number of Arab countries.
