President Bassam Badran and former Minister of Education & Higher Education Judge Abbas Halabi inaugurated a mural depicting the faculties of the Lebanese University at the entrance to the Central Administration building.

The mural, created by the director of the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture - Branch 2, architect Bernard Ghoussoub, is hand-sculpted in ancient natural stone, giving it an authentic character that reflects the craftsmanship and precision of the execution.

The artistic concept of the mural is based on the symbolic representation of the faculties of the Lebanese University, in a setting that reflects its long-standing presence as a center of science and culture.

The mural also features characters who carry the torch of knowledge and reflect the university's mission of disseminating knowledge and promoting various academic disciplines.

On either side of the mural, two Greek women are depicted in a profound symbolism that blends intellectual and cultural heritage, emphasizing the link between past and present and embodying the spirit of scientific research and enlightened thinking that the Lebanese University aims to establish.
