
The Lebanese University women's basketball team crowned the fifth week of the FSUL championship with its fourth victory in five games, winning 43-18 against AUST.
Thus, the team moved to the ranks of the university's first division teams despite the fact that it is new, and its capabilities are average compared to the established teams that include a group of players from the leading clubs in the Lebanese Women's Championship.
The women's futsal team also defeated its AUST counterpart by withdrawing (2-0), for not meeting the technical conditions of the tournament.
In the first phase of the swimming championship organized at the Center for Innovation and Sports (CIS) at USJ, Mario Bassil won two silver medals for Lebanese University, finishing second.
The men's tennis team, consisting of Mohammed Ibrahim and Hadi Issa, started the team tournament with a 2-1 victory over the host LAU - Beirut.
The Lebanese women's team, consisting of Fatima Dakdouki and Tala Jomaa, defeated the AUB team scoring 3-1 in the second stage of the table tennis competition, which was hosted by the Faculty of Technology.
