
The Faculty of Economics & Business Administration - Branch 2 organized a seminar entitled “Beyond Borders”, presented by Mr. Sam Abou Jaoude, international consultant and agent in the fast-moving consumer goods sector.
The seminar addressed the role of exports in strengthening economic growth and global competitiveness, and highlighted the skills essential for penetrating international markets, particularly the United States.
Mr. Abou Jaoude emphasized the importance of studying the market, building brand identity and developing effective marketing strategies to ensure the success of products in foreign markets. He explained to the students the manufacturing and export process and the importance of planning and not rushing to make profits in order to ensure the building of a strong and distinctive brand.
The seminar was attended by Dean Selim Mekdessi, branch director Abir Tarabay, and a group of professors, staff members and students. It ended with an interactive competition in which Mr. Abou Jaoude distributed valuable books to students and answered their questions.
