Agreement on strengthening cooperation between the Lebanese University and the Union of Arab Universities
The President of the Lebanese University (LU), Dr. Bassam Badran, and the Secretary General of the Arab Universities Union, Dr. Omar Ezzat Salame, discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the two parties in various fields, particularly through the Association of Arab Arts Faculties, a member of the union, which is hosted by the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture (FFAA) at the Lebanese University.
Accompanied by President Badran and Ms. Lina Bitar, Dr. Salama visited the Rafik Hariri University City – Hadath. The first stop was the FFAA - Branch 1, where he met with students in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Hicham Zeineddine, the director of Branch 1, Ms. Nawal Boudani, the heads of academic departments, and the secretary.
The delegation then visited the Doctoral School of Science and Technology (DSST) building, where it was welcomed by the Dean, Dr. Kassem Hamze, the Dean of the Faculty of Science (FS), Dr. Ali Kanj, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering (FE), Dr. Nazih Moubayyad, and the Coordinator of the LU International Relations Office, Dr. Véronique Kaspar, who gave a presentation on the university and its local and international partnerships.
