The FLPAS - Branch 3 wins “Best Written Brief” award at the finals of the 12th Arab Moot Court Competition
The team from the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences – Branch 3 won the “Best Written Brief Award” in the finals of the 12th Arab Moot Court Competition, which was held (virtually) at the University of Sharjah in Oman in collaboration with the Kuwait International Law School between 5-9 April 2026.
In the competition, which featured 22 university teams from 19 Arab countries, the Faculty of Law represented Lebanon and won 3rd place for the best legal brief submitted to the International Court of Justice.
The faculty team consisted of students Abd El Majid Mkhayber and Dalaa Lubany (3rd year Bachelor) and Dia Jarjoura (2nd year Bachelor), while the team was supervised by researcher Dr. Mazen Chandab, a professor at the faculty and a specialist in international law and international relations.
This competition is a leading academic platform aimed at enhancing law students’ advocacy and judicial analysis skills, fostering a culture of legal research, and preparing a generation of legal professionals capable of meeting challenges, particularly in light of the shift toward e-litigation.
