President Badran inaugurates the conference of the “Brain Week at the Lebanese University”
President Bassam Badran inaugurated the conference of the “Brain Week at the Lebanese University” organized by the Laboratory of Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences of the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) at Rafic Hariri University Compound - Hadath, in the presence of several academic personalities and a group of professors and students from the Lebanese University (LU) and private universities.
During the ceremony, President Badran delivered a speech in which he talked about the status of the LU, and said: “As you know, the Lebanese University holds a prominent place among Lebanese, Arab and international universities, and is the official reference of the Lebanese State in the field of education, research, knowledge, expertise and teaching. Fulfilling multiple missions, the Lebanese University is proud of its local and regional achievements since its establishment and its distinguished contribution to supplying the local, Arab and international market with high-level scientific, medical, health and technical skills. These are the greatest proofs of the excellence and success to which our scholars have always worked in their different categories and positions to support the sustainability of their institution.”
Adding, “The main objective of the university is not only to achieve the desired goals, but also to provide strategies to create a culture of innovation and continuous education. At the Lebanese University, there are efforts and a search for knowledge and scientific facts.”
Concluding, “I salute the efforts of the organizers and participants of the conference. I wish them to achieve the desired goals and ask them to continue their mission of education and research...”.
