Applications accepted for M1R in Anthropology at the ISS for 2026–2027
The Dean of the Institute of Social Sciences announces that applications are now open for the M1R in Anthropology at the Institute of Social Sciences for the academic year 2026–2027, from 15 June 2026 through 15 July 2026 (except Fridays) from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.
First: Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the Lebanese University with a minimum cumulative GPA of 100/60, or from an institution outside the Lebanese University that is recognized by the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education with a minimum cumulative GPA of 70/100.
- Specialized diploma in Social Sciences from the Lebanese University with a minimum overall grade of 70/100.
Second: Required Documents
- Copy of the Baccalaureate (Section II) certified by the Ministry of Education or its equivalent.
- Duly certified copy of bachelor’s degree certificate (with or without grades) for all students.
- Certified copy of the equivalency certificate issued by the Ministry of Education for students from institutions other than the Lebanese University.
Third: Location & Teaching Language
- Location: Research Center of the Institute of Social Sciences – Sin el Fil.
- Language: Arabic
Note: Students should submit all required documents to the Student Affairs Office at the Institute’s Deanship (Tayouneh).
