Applications accepted for M1P in Social & Solidarity Economy Project Engineering at the ISS for 2026–2027
The Dean of the Institute of Social Sciences announces that applications are now being accepted for M 1P in “Social and Solidarity Economy Project Engineering” at the Institute of Social Sciences for the academic year 2026–2027, between 1-22 July 2026 (excluding Fridays), from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.
First: Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences from the Lebanese University or a recognized university, duly equivalenced.
- Bachelor’s degree in the following fields: Economics – Agricultural Engineering – Social and Health Work – Psychology, or holders of bachelor’s degrees in fields other than those listed, provided they have professional experience in the field for which they intend to apply (with a minimum of two years of experience).
- Overall grade point average of at least 55/100 (i.e., a GPA of at least 5/2.75 according to the Lebanese University grading scale).
- Overall grade of at least 65/100 (equivalent to a GPA of at least 5/3.25 according to the grading scale for students outside the Lebanese University).
Second: Required Documents

- Duly certified bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
- Duly certified detailed transcript of bachelor’s degree grades
- Certified copy of the Ministry of Education’s equivalency certificate for students from outside the Lebanese University.
- Curriculum vitae
- Motivation letter in which the student states the primary reasons for choosing to enroll in the master’s program.
Third: Location & Teaching Language

- Location: Research Center of the Institute of Social Sciences – Sin el Fil.
- Language: Arabic and English.
Note: Students should submit all required documents to the Student Affairs Office at the Institute’s Deanship (Tayouneh).
