One of the Facebook pages publishes ads about the American University of Beirut (AUB) and the Lebanese University (LU) organizing free online educational courses with participants receiving free certificates, which has been welcomed by many users. However, these ads are "false and have no truth", as the two universities concerned confirmed to An-Nahar, warning that they should not be believed and should be distrusted. (#FactCheck)

The Facebook page is called "University Information", and its ads are accompanied by a link to the website "freeuniversitycourses.website", which allegedly opens up "options" for visitors to obtain "distance courses". Beware of this page, however, as its advertisements for "free online courses" offered by AUB and LU are false and fabricated.
