Based on the meeting held on 21 October 2020 between the President of the University and the faculty deans in the Central Administration,
All faculties, branches, and university centers are required to adhere to the following:
First: Adopting hybrid education for the academic year 2020-2021, that is, online and in-person education, especially when the teaching subjects and applied work require direct interaction between professors and students.
Second: The council of each faculty determines the details related to its faculty and its peculiarities, including the attendance or remote participation rate, and according to each methodological year, including the master’s degree, as well as for the informational applications to be used in the first semester, provided that Microsoft Teams is adopted starting from the second semester.
Third: Health emergencies that cannot be identified or their repercussions cannot be decided upon, shall be considered at the beginning of the academic year on an ongoing basis. This exceptional reality is taken into consideration to make adjustments to the attendance programs that may be adopted.
Fourth: Professors, students, employees and everyone who access any university campus shall abide by the strict health measures imposed by the Coronavirus pandemic, and exceptions are not allowed.
Fifth: It is mandatory to hold the final examination in-person, provided that cooperation takes place between university faculties to complete them in places suitable for the student numbers, respecting the principle of social distancing and logistical and health requirements.
Sixth: The meetings of the faculty councils and deans shall remain open, to keep pace with the current university year, and to face any emergency of any kind.
