Job Requirements:
Minimum 2 to 3 years of Experience
Expertise: Plant Protection or Plant Production
Bachelor Degree in Agriculture Engineer
Job Duties:
- Travel to different areas (point of sales) to meet old customers and create new ones in order to promote company’s products;
- Conducts regular field visits to the market in order to keep abreast with the latest market developments.
- Conduct regular on field demonstrations
- Follow up with farmers on the progress of our products and mainly the newly launched ones
- Conducts regular market visits to existing customers or potential ones in order to expand the customer data base .
- Conducts training/awareness sessions to customers on the products and the way of usage .
- Prepares regular quantitative reports regarding the performance of product lines.
- Follows up on the sales achievement and participates in decisions that are required to comply with the market demands and needs.
- Monitors and evaluates the performance of products and suggest proper corrective action in coordination with the Finance Departments.
- Follows-up on product related advertising and promotional activities.
- Follows up on stock level related matters such as expiry dates, reordering etc.
- Suggests the introduction of new products that would enhance the sales of the company.
- Carries out all the operational management related tasks of the product.
- Conduct research to discover new foreign suppliers
- Conduct field trials and establishing projects ( potato, tomato, and maize cultivation…)
- Communicate with new suppliers that provide greenhouse and irrigation systems, seeds, and send samples for trials
- Prepare the yearly purchase forecasts, depending on the sales and stock reports
- Prepare and maintain records and reports
- Follow up with suppliers and the agricultural engineers on new irrigation systems applications.
Job Offer:
