The Lebanese University - Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture participates in the activities of the “Alexandria Arab Theatre Festival” for Specialized Institutes and Colleges, to be launched in its first edition from 3-9 December 2019.

On 7 December 2019, students of the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture (Branch 2) will present at the Festival a play entitled "The Dictator" directed by the Master’s student Hasan Mehyeddine with Joseph Akiki and Roger Ghanem as actors and the technical team consisting of Mohamed Fouani and Charbel Dib, after being selected by the viewer’s committee that focused on standards complying with the festival objectives.

Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture, Prof. Mohamed Al Hajj, who accompanies the students, will participate on Saturday, 8 December 2019, in presenting a lecture on the role of specialized institutes and colleges in the development of cultural industries.

Prof. Al Hajj stresses the importance of cooperation between the theater people who are able to open new horizons in our Arab societies and provide knowledge tools to create paths for our Arab issues, and thus restore the academic value in Arab awareness.
