The Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture (Branch 3) and the Faculty of Engineering (Branch 1) of the Lebanese University, organized an “Open Day” at the President Michel Sleiman University Compound, Mont-Michel, North Lebanon, to introduce the specializations available in the two faculties.
The Director of the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture, Eng. Issam Obaid, said that this event aims to inform high school students and visitors, whose number exceeded thousand students from public and private high schools from all northern regions, about the specializations in the faculties, in addition to the awareness campaigns and orientation programs adopted by the schools in North Lebanon to help students choose their university majors properly.
Student Joy Sawalhi stated that the event was very useful for the students who met with the university director, professors, staff and the current students, and were provided with a detailed explanation of the work of students and professors. She also thanked the directors and professors of the Faculties of Arts and Engineering.
The event included students' artistic productions in addition to live productions for direct drawing, and presentations for technical engineering projects, in cooperation with the two faculties’ clubs to highlight the youth talents and abilities in the various specializations available in the Northern campus.
