The team from the Faculty of Medical Sciences won the Branch 1 basketball championship, whose games were held on the courts of the Rafic Hariri University Campus - Hadath, with teams from all 10 faculties taking part.

The top four places went to teams from the Faculties of Medical Sciences, Science, Dental Medicine and Economics & Business Administration, respectively.

In the finals, the FMS team won back-to-back games (53-45) and (54-42) against the FS.
