Mario Abdel Khalek won the Lebanese University Rapid Chess Championship at the Faculty of Science (Branch 2), which was organized on the university campus with the participation of 20 students.
The tournament was organized according to the Swiss method, with 5 rounds, and Mario won them all, followed by Sam Haidar, who scored 4 points out of a possible 5, then Gabriel Sabbagh, with 3.5 points out of a possible 5.
The championship was supervised by Branch 2 sports activities manager, international referee Elias Khairallah, and sports activities department trainer Jessica Sakr.
