Within the cultural month "Alwan" organized under the auspices of the President of the Lebanese University, Professor Fouad Ayoub, the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences (Branch 3) hosted the Russian Folklore "Yarmarka" group, which performed on March 2019 a heritage ceremony at the “Beit El Fan Theater” in the AZM Cultural Center – Mina, Tripoli.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Moqbel Malak, Representative of President Najib Mikati, Dr. Vadim Zaychikov, Director of the Russian Cultural Center in Beirut, Dr. Jacqueline Ayoub, Director of the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences (Branch 3), Dr. Adel Al-Hallak, Director of the Faculty of Engineering (Branch 1), Ms. Sahar Alameddine, General Secretary of the LU Central Administration, Ms. Moubarakeh Tanios, Secretary of the University Council, in addition to a number of representatives of political parties, a group of doctors, members of the Russian community, the republics of the former Soviet Union, literary and intellectual activists, and representatives of associations.
