Based on the recommendations of the Lebanese University - Coronavirus Follow-up Committee, the Faculty of Public Health has taken a set of measures to be applied in all branches upon the resumption of courses and exams, according to the following:

·         Sterilizing all rooms and halls before the entrance of students and after their departure;

·         Requesting students, employees and members of the Teaching Staff not to attend in case of experiencing any of the following symptoms: temperature, cold, cough, dyspnea, diarrhea, loss of taste or smell;

·         Measuring the temperature to all persons entering the Faculty and washing hands with sterile solution;

·         Wearing masks inside the Faculty campus;

·         Preventing the use of elevators, except in special cases, and sterilizing the internal and external panel button frequently;

·         Requesting the cleaning staff to clean and disinfect on a daily basis and requesting professors, students and office workers to sterilize their tables and chairs upon entrance to the classroom and before their departure;

·         Organizing the schedule of courses, exams, and practical work for a maximum of 4 consecutive hours per day, and dividing the working hours in the halls into two shifts (4 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the afternoon);

·         Ventilating the halls for half an hour after the departure of students and before the entrance of new students;

·         Maintaining social distancing (1.5m between each person);

·         Allocating one day in the Faculty during the examination period for each academic year or department, taking into account the safe distribution of students in halls.
