Dr. Nadim Mansouri, Professor of Sociology at the Institute of Social Sciences, won the Arab Center for Research & Policy Studies (ACRPS) "Encouraging Research in the Social Sciences and Humanities" award for his research entitled "Neuroticism & Social Practices in Digital Society: A Socio-digital Reading."
The announcement was made during the closing ceremony of the 10th edition of the Social Sciences & Humanities Conference held in Doha, Qatar, in the presence of the Minister of Education & Higher Education, Mrs. Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater, and a group of Arab researchers and academics.
The win is a new achievement for the Lebanese University that reflects Lebanon's position in the Arab academic arena despite the challenges and highlights the pioneering role of Lebanese researchers in developing social studies in the region.
