Under the patronage of President Bassam Badran, a cooperation agreement was signed between the University Medical Center (UMC), represented by its Director, Dr. Elie Hadchiti, and the Mutual Fund for Lebanese University Employees, represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Hussein Awwad.

The signing took place in the presence of heads of departments from the Central Administration, the head of the executive body of the League of Lebanese University Employees, Mr. Ayman Majed, and a group of employees.

This agreement is in line with UMC's mission to provide high-quality medical and healthcare services to the widest possible segment of society. It also complements the role of the Mutual Fund for University Employees, which provides medical coverage for its members by covering a percentage of the cost of medical and therapeutic care provided at the medical center.
