Ahmad Hazer, coach at the Sports Activities Department of the Lebanese University and first vice-president of the Lebanese University Sports Federation (LUSF), took part in a training course organized by the International Athletics Federation's Regional Development Center (based in Cairo) in Level 2 sprint and obstacle course according to the new system.
Participants attended digital and theoretical courses and lectures, practical sessions and field tests, held over a week in Cairo, delivered by certified experts and led by Mr. Ralph Machbahani.
The training included the development of skills, expertise and information based on modern scientific foundations that contribute to the development of player performance in the light of training programs that are almost radically different from what they used to be.
The LUSF had designated Coach Hazer for this advanced course, making him the first person in Lebanon to be certified.
