The Lebanese University was ranked among the first 100 global universities (51-100) in petroleum engineering, the first 150 global universities (101-150) in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences, and the first 300 global universities (251-300) in electrical and electronic engineering, according to the 2024 QS University Rankings report.
According to QS, the Lebanese University ranked first in Lebanon in the Academic Reputation Index for pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, computer science, mathematics, and medical sciences.
The QS World University Rankings by Subjects 2024 report showed that the Lebanese University maintained its ranking in engineering, pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences compared to last year's figures, while it recorded progress in the field of medical sciences in the 2024 edition of the rankings.
QS said in its report that it used academic reputation, employer reputation and International Research Network (IRN) surveys to evaluate the programs of 1,559 global educational institutions, including the Lebanese University, covering 55 disciplines within five major fields.
