Vacancy: Freelance Translators - Harvard Business Review Arabia

Haykal Media, The Abu Dhabi based publisher of Harvard Business Review Arabia, Popular science Arabia and Aliqtisadi.com, is seeking for Translators.

Responsibilities:

-          Read through original material and rewrite it in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained

-          Ability to work to deadlines

-          Use specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words used

-          Proofread and edit final translated versions

-          Good general knowledge

Required Qualifications/Background profile:

-          Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic

-          Fluency in at least two foreign languages

-          Confident, motivated, sales opener and closer characters are preferable.

-          IT skills
