Deadline extended for “Applied Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning” for 2026–2027
To allow interested applicants time to complete their applications, the application deadline for the “Applied Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning” diploma program at the Faculty of Science for the academic year 2026–2027 has been extended until noon on Wednesday, 30 September 2026.
Reminder
Information for students
The Diploma Program Administration would like to clarify the following regarding the application, registration, and academic procedures:
First: Submission of Applications
1. Applications shuuld be submitted exclusively to the Deanship of the Faculty of Science – Lebanese University, Hadath, 3rd Floor – Dean’s Secretariat
2. Applications will be accepted until 25 September 2026 inclusive, between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm
3. The applicant should be present in person when submitting the application, and the application form should be filled out on-site
4. The student should bring all required documents at the time of application.
Required documents:
1. Certified true copy of the Baccalaureate diploma—Section II or its equivalent
2. Certified true copy of university transcripts with grades
3. Certified true copy of the university degree equivalency issued by the Lebanese Ministry of Education & Higher Education for students holding a degree from a private university, or a copy of the equivalency application submitted to the Ministry
4. Copy of national ID for Lebanese students, or copy of passport for foreigners, duly certified
5. (1) One passport photo
Any incomplete application will be rejected.
Second: Admission Results and Completion of Registration
1. Each applicant will receive a notification of acceptance or rejection within a maximum of ten working days after the application deadline.
2. Accepted students are given a specific deadline to complete the registration process, which includes submitting the original documents to the deanship and paying the required fees.
3. Any student who does not complete registration within the specified deadline forfeits their seat, and that seat is offered to another student on the waiting list.
Third: Fees
1. Fees are calculated based on the student’s bachelor’s degree (whether from the Lebanese University or another institution).
2. Fees should be paid in a single installment at LibanPost; installment payments are not permitted.
Fourth: Teaching Locations and Procedure
1. Lectures are held at the Faculty of Science in Branch 1 - Hadath, Branch 2 - Fanar and Branch3 – Tripoli, and the student selects the location closest to their place of residence.
2. The professor attends the branch closest to their place of residence and delivers their lecture from there, while the lecture is broadcast live to the other two lecture halls via the video conferencing equipment available in those halls.
Fifth: Schedule
Afternoon sessions are scheduled whenever possible and are concentrated into as few days as the program allows.
