FFAA (Branch 2) represents Lebanon at the Saint Gobain International Architecture Competition in Helsinki
The Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture (Branch 2) of the Lebanese University has won first and third prize in the national competition organized by the international company Saint Gobain to select the three best projects by architecture students from universities in Lebanon.
The theme of the competition was the design of an annex complex, student residences, various services and other facilities for the Viikki campus of the University of Helsinki, and the jury was made up of international experts and architects.
Following the presentation of the projects, the jury awarded the first and third prizes to the students of FFAA (Branch 2):
First prize: Rim Lichaa El Khoury, Ralph Sayah and Mohamad Faour.
Third prize: Ria Selina Achkar and Desirée Macros.
The first prize winners will represent Lebanon at the international stage of the competition, to be held in Helsinki in June.
