The FPH - Branch 6 celebrates International Nurses Day
The Faculty of Public Health – Branch 6 celebrated International Nurses Day 2026 under the slogan “Our Nurses… Our Future… Empowering Nursing Saves Lives” at a commemorative event organized by the Department of Nursing. The event was attended by academic and administrative staff, department heads and coordinators, and a group of students.
Dr. Hikmat Akoum, Director of the Branch, and Dr. Abir Zebian, Head of the Nursing Department, spoke at the ceremony. A speech was also delivered on behalf of the students who presented outstanding activities that reflected the spirit of giving, humanity, and the noble mission of nursing.
In conclusion, symbolic gifts were presented to the instructors and students in appreciation of their efforts.
