Announcement to applicants for the entrance exam for Y2, Y3 and Y4 at the FMS for 2026–2027
The Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences announces the following to applicants for the entrance exam to the Faculty of Medical Sciences:
First
The entrance exam for the second academic year in General Medicine will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday and Thursday, 16 and 17 September 2026, at the faculty building in Hadath.
Second
The entrance exam for certain academic years at the Faculty of Medical Sciences will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday and Thursday, 16 and 17 September 2026, at the faculty building in Hadath.
Third
Applications for the entrance exam will be accepted at the Student Affairs Office of the Faculty of Medical Sciences between 20-29 July 2026, and between 1-10 September 2026 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays of each week, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the faculty building in Hadath.
Fourth
Each candidate should present their registration card along with their ID or civil status record on the day of the exam.
Fifth
Only students who achieved a grade point average of 12/20 or higher in their first year at the Faculty of Science at the Lebanese University, in accordance with the curriculum of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, or its equivalent at faculties with curricula equivalent to that of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, are eligible to participate in this exam.

First: LU Students

- High school diploma (Section II) or its equivalent (certified copy)
- Certified copy of civil status record
- (2) Two certified passport photos
- Financial stamp worth LBP 50,000
- Participation fee of LBP 1,000,000
Second: Non-LU students for Y2, and a registration certificate from the Faculty of Medicine for Y3 and Y4

- Certified transcript from the candidate’s previous university showing that the curriculum is at least equivalent to that of the years mentioned above at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 20/12
- Grades earned by the student during their years of study
- The program at the candidate’s previous university
- Certified copy of Baccalaureate (Section II) or its equivalent
- Certified copy of civil status record
- (2) Two certified passport photos
- Financial stamp worth LBP 50,000
- Participation fee of LBP 1,000,000
