In order to adhere to the coronavirus prevention procedures, the teaching classes and offices of the staff and administration of the Institute of Social Sciences (Branch 3) at the Lebanese University were subject to sterilization on 10 March 2020, in the presence of the Branch Director, Dr. Claude Attieh and the supervision of health workers.

A set of basic guidelines approved for the prevention of the virus were selected for circulation among the educational and administrative staff and students.
