Date of entrance exams for the Master's in “Performing Arts” and “Theater Directing” at the FFAA for the academic year 2026–2027
The Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture announces:
a. The application period for the entrance exam for the Master’s degree in “Performing Arts” and “Theater Directing” will be from 11 May to 30 July 2026 and between 1-4 September 2026, during official working hours at Branch 1 building in Hadath for the “Theater Directing”, and at Branch 2 building – Forn al-Chebbak for the “Performing Arts”.
b. Written exams for admitted students will be held on 8 September 2026, following file review.
c. Oral interviews will be held on 11 September 2026.
Applications for this competition should be submitted with the following documents:
1- Copy of the high school diploma (Secondary School Certificate, Part II) or its official equivalent
2- Copy of a university degree in film or audiovisual studies: a diploma or bachelor’s degree requiring a minimum of three years of study (six full semesters).
Note: The degree should be officially recognized if issued by a university other than the Lebanese University.
3- Official, signed transcript of university grades
4- Portfolio (containing works created by the candidate)
5- (1) one-page motivation letter in which the student states the reasons and motivations for their desire to enroll in the desired program, and a second page outlining the concept for the practical project the student intends to complete during the master’s program
6- CV (signed and detailed)
7- Certified copy of ID or civil status record
8- (2) Two certified passport photos
9- Financial stamp worth LBP 50,000
10- Participation fee: LBP 1,000,000
