The Faculty of Economic Sciences & Business Administration organized the entrance exam for the first year. About 3,500 candidates were distributed among 11 exam centers in the North, South, Bekaa, Beirut, and Mount Lebanon regions.

The competition was held under the supervision of the caretaker Minister of Education & Higher Education Judge Abbas Halabi, President of the Lebanese University, Prof. Bassam Badran, Dean of the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration, Prof. Selim Mekdissi, directors of the Faculty's branches, and a group of professors and employees of the Faculty and the Ministry of Education.
