President Badran oversees entrance exams for the Faculty of Engineering
President Bassam Badran accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Nazih Moubayed, conducted an inspection tour of the exam centers which took place today at Branches 2 and 3. He visited Roumieh center and the Rafik Hariri University Campus in Hadath.
During the tour, President Badran reviewed the progress of the exams and conditions under which students were received, emphasizing the university’s commitment to providing an appropriate environment to ensure transparency and integrity of the entrance exam, thereby reflecting the Faculty of Engineering’s status as one of the academic pillars of the Lebanese University.
He also stressed the importance of these exams in attracting a select group of outstanding students, noting that the Lebanese University will continue to support and develop its engineering programs in line with the needs of the local and international job markets.
President Badran noted that the visit was part of the presidency’s direct oversight of exam administration procedures and served to reaffirm the university’s commitment to academic standards in its dealings with competing students.
