Branch 2 of the Faculty of Pedagogy was established in 1977, i.e. two years after the outbreak of the civil war and the division of Beirut into eastern and western regions.
At first, employees worked at Dr. Michel Kreidi's house, then moved to a school in Jounieh before the then President of the University, Dr. Edmond Naim secured a school in Antelias, and then they moved to the building of the Directorate General of Vocational and Technical Education in Dekwaneh.
Thereafter, the Lebanese University rented the building of "Garden City" school near the Armenian residences in Rawda, which became the building of the Faculty of Pedagogy (Branch 2) until today.
