Higher Institute of Applied Economic Sciences

(ISSAE – CNAM Lebanon)

ISSAE-CNAM Lebanon, associated with the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts (CNAM-Paris) is a higher education institution offering continuous education degree to allow employees in the public and private sectors to evolve in their professions while keeping their jobs.

Since its foundation in 1971, through a partnership between the CNAM, the Lebanese University (LU), and the Lebanese Association for the Scientific, Technical and Economic Education (ALESTE), ISSAE-CNAM Lebanon offers its students the possibility of taking courses accredited in France and recognized in Lebanon.

Thus, its objectives are summarized as follows:

- Development of applied higher education, in various technical and professional fields, in line with the evolution of the professions.

- Promotion of continuing education to improve the skills of employees in public and private companies.

- Design training focused on the skills sought by companies through tailored services meeting the needs of these companies.

ISSAE-CNAM Lebanon is the first center of CNAM open abroad. It ensures the pedagogical supervision, the technical assistance, the coordination and the control of the activity of the Institute.

Currently, ISSAE-CNAM Lebanon prepares its students to obtain French diplomas, recognized in Lebanon, in the following specializations:

Economics and Management - Electronics - Electrotechnics - Electromechanics - Energetics - Civil Engineering - Process Engineering (Petroleum "Oil & Gas", Environment) - Computer Science - Mechanics of Structures - Networks and Telecom - Statistics.

Candidates wishing to pursue courses at ISSAE-CNAM Lebanon shall have at least the Lebanese Baccalaureate or its equivalent, and shall complete the application form and attach the required documents (www.isae.edu.lb/annonces).

A language placement test in French and English is mandatory for all students who do not have the DELF – Diploma in French Language Studies, issued by the French Cultural Center in Lebanon) for the French language test or the French Baccalaureate, and the BULATS (Business Language Testing Service) prepared by the University of Cambridge for the English.

Two placement tests are organized each academic year, in September for the first semester and in February for the second semester.

Trainings at ISSAE-CNAM Lebanon are divided into courses, which are training modules that can be taken separately or combined in free tracks or degrees.

The presence of the student in the Practical Works and Language and Communication courses is compulsory.

1- ISSAE-CNAM Lebanon offers the possibility to prepare a wide variety of diplomas issued by CNAM:

- RNCP III level diplomas (bac + 2)

- Bachelor's degree (Bac + 3)

- RNCP II level diplomas (Bac + 4)

- Diplomas of level Bac + 5:

- CNAM Engineer diploma with Master's degree (9 specializations)

- Master in Project and Business Management

- Master in Finance

- Master in Statistical Risk Analysis, Datamining Techniques (Two options: Finance, Insurance).

2- ISSAE-CNAM Lebanon also prepares students to obtain professional certificates of:

- Urban Engineering

- Elevator Manufacturer

- SMEs Assistant

- Accounting Assistant

- Network machine administrators

The issuance of diplomas by CNAM is subject to the following:

1- Professional experience in the specialization (evaluated by a national commission based on the duration and level of this experience and in accordance with the required degree)

2- Obtaining the DELF certificate in French language

3- Obtaining the BULATS certificate in English language
