The Lebanese University - Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences (Branch 3) was established pursuant to Decree 614 dated 11 November 1977.
The Branch is located in part of the Lebanese Army barracks in Koubba – Tripoli, which was built by the French in 1937 and is known for its four historic buildings surrounded by a large garden.
